Although I was not in Parwich all day on Thursday, I did encounter 3 of the contractors vehicles on the road between Bradbourne and Brassington and on all 3 occasions, the tractors pulled in to let me pass, each one giving me a friendly wave.
Also after reading the comments I am sure they were driving a little fast through the village, but to say one was travelling at 50 mph whilst towing perhaps 12 tonnes of grain takes a little believing.
I have also looked at the 6 ft skid marks and if I was driving one of those monsterous vehicles would be very pleased with myself for pulling it up in such a short distance! (especially going at 50 mph)
i would love to know where these tractors that go 50mph whilst towing a 10 ton trailer are from..as im sure theydo not exist!! as far as im aware 20mph is pushing it! afterall animals need there feed!
was the 50 mph tractor pink with wings. are people writing a blog or a fictional book. is J K rowling now residing in parwich. With respect to the high speed tractor, would it not be a lovely change to follow this machine along the A515 instead of the usual 20 mph versions.
