King Prawn Patia: A Mumbai regional dish, sweet, hot and bursting with flavour. For two £19.00.
Parsee Lamb with apricots: A fragrant medium spiced dish. For two £15.00.



What a great idea! I still have fond memories of Paul and Evie’s food at The Gate, and my tastebuds are already drooling at the prospect of these dishes…

We’ve already sampled Paul and Evie’s curries and they are very very tasty! I’m sure we will be coming back for more..
When will you start including the rice and the popadoms and the side dishes…..??

Thank you Evie and Paul. We’ve just finished our first Burmese Curried Beef and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!
We tried the Parsee lamb with Apricots – two plentiful portions of tender lamb in a rich and beautifully flavoured sauce. It all came in a bag complete with one of Paul’s legendary quips! Delicious!!Takes me back to the ‘good old days’ at The Gate, which we nicknamed the Parwich Canteen due its popularity.
If you have never had the pleasure of one of Paul and Evie’s curries before it might be helpful to know that their medium curry would probably get three chillies in M&S. Looking forward to the rice and what about a side dish? Sorry Paul – there will be no end to this and I forsee a Parwich Curry House!

Hello curry fiends,I will be rustling up two specials this week,one being Chicken Chettinad,an intricate dish combining fresh coconut and an array of spices (hottish) also Lamb Achar Gosht a tangy dish simmered in yoghurt and pickling spices (hottish) both priced @ £15.50 for two portions,Pilau rice is now available @ £1.75 per portion. The Raj on the Green! John and I have just loved every – to us pleasantly hot – mouthful of Paul and Evie’s Chicken Balti, with Pilau Rice. It was delicious, and the portions extremely generous. Thank you Paul and Evie – these fiends will certainly be coming back for more!

Hello curry fiends,thank you for the repeat orders and new disciples it is very encouraging. I will be cooking a hot chicken dish a speciality of southern India consisting of boned chicken thighs crispy fried and then simmered in a mouth watering array of spices & finished with coconut cream,@£15.50 for two.The lamb achar gosht is still available due to popular demand. I have succumbed to requests for poppadums @50p each,
