Parwich singer-songwriter Hazel B from Hallgates will be playing at the Y-NOT festival on the Friday. At last year’s festival, Hazel performed a great set on the open-mike stage. She was then booked by the organisers to be on the main bill this year.

Well done Hazel, a great achievement. Fantastic that Parwich will be represented twice, on consecutive nights – by Hazel then by the A52’s.

Actually, Friday is my favourite line-up of the weekend: I’m looking forward to seeing sets by Jake Bugg, King Charles, Spotlight Kid and Naymedici.
