Our “Weatherman in the Village” says:
Poor forecast last week – we didn’t really experience the calm conditions predicted early in the week, although it was a bit drier on Monday with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday being quite wet. Changeable conditions dominated the whole week. I recorded the first air frost of the autumn on the morning of Sunday 14th, with a recorded low of -0.4 degrees C at 8am.
The good weather we have experienced this weekend doesn’t look like it will continue into the week, as it looks like being generally pretty changeable throughout. On Monday we will probably see a return of wet conditions. Temperatures are forecast to be generally mild, with no overnight frosts.
