Our “Weatherman in the Village” says:
A pretty good forecast last week, with Halloween proving the most unpleasant day of the week, as predicted – as a result we only got four sets of children demanding sweets with menaces, and Val and Nia must have stayed at home in front of the fire!
It looks like we will have a settled start to the week again next week, and an unsettled end with more extensive rain on Thursday and Friday. Bonfire night tomorrow looks like it will be OK, with the slim possibility of a shower, but all the signs are it will be quite cold and clear with light winds – the perfect bonfire night.
