A cow has been found shot dead on a field near Fenny Bentley, Ashbourne, overnight between Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November.
Officers are investigating the incident and ask that other local farmers with livestock to report anything suspicious straight away to Derbyshire Police on 101.
