11.00 am Oddfellows’ Service – in St Peter’s Church. All welcome
1.15 pm Oddfellows’ Dinner – in the Memorial Hall
11.00 am to 2.00 pm Village Market on the Green
12 noon & onwards: BBQ/Rounders on Nethergreen (bring your own BBQ food)
6.00 pm Fancy Dress & Carnival – assemble at the School steps
6.15 pm Grand Fancy Dress Carnival – procession round the village ending at the Green
7.30 pm Hog Roast & Entertainment on the Green (Entertainment: Doveholes Brass Band Concert & Chris Houlihan)
Sunday July 3rd:
11.00 am The Campsite ‘Songs of Praise Service’ (Ian Mansfield) – Parsons Croft
12.00 noon Fun and Games with the Campers – Parsons Croft
6.00 pm: Treasure Hunts around the Village – Start on the Green; end at Legion
8.00 pm Wakes BBQ – Legion
Monday July 4th:
6.30 pm Children’s Sports – Nethergreen (Open to any children wishing to take part)
Tuesday July 5th: The 39th Annual Parwich Hill Race (Starting and finishing at The Sycamore and run over Parwich Hill and roads around Parwich)
7.00 pm Local Ladies’ Race
7.30 pm Junior Hill Race (Local Children are defined as those who were, or still are, eligible to attend Parwich School. (14 Years old and under)
8.00 pm Senior Hill Race (Entry £4)
(Raffle prize donations invited from Carnival Committee Members)
Wednesday July 6th – Recovery Night: no event organised
Thursday July 7th: Children’s Film Night
6.30 pm Children’s Film Night Film – Parwich Memorial Hall
Friday July 8th; the Return of Race Night!
7.00 pm Ball race on Pump Hill
8.00 pm Race Night at the Legion: Horses (!), ferrets and strength tester – Legion
Saturday July 9th Fun & Games Afternoon on Parson’s Croft
2.00 pm onwards Fun & Games organised by Parwich Oddfellows (more details to follow).
