Once again, I would like to thank Cheryl and the MH team for organising the very enjoyable Live&Local puppet performance ‘Little Red Robin Hood’ this afternoon. My young 5-yr old grandson and myself were amused to watch various characters from Robin Hood, the Sheriff, Little John and others taking over from Red Riding Hood, only for the young Red Riding Hood to help rescue all 5 of them from the wolf’s bloated stomach by making mincemeat of the wolf, hitting him over the head with a frying pan. Oh well, there goes gender stereotyping down the drain.
Thank you Saskia – I’d forgotten how enjoyable proper puppet show can be 😊
