In case you haven’t experienced them yet: there are several more potholes on the way out to the B5056, mainly between the Pikehall turning and the Wigley’s. Some are small but vicious! I have reported them via the form on the DCC website. Please do the same as it may help to speed up repair.

Good luck with that one!!! DCC Highways are hopeless. I reported a pot hole in 2017 which was near the school & surrounding the water grid on the hill and they did not even bother to log it!! I found that out when I called them again 3 months later to see why it hadn’t been repaired.
My experience of reporting potholes using DCC’s online form has been a more positive one. In general DCC’s Highways have responded reasonably quickly although some of the more recent ‘fillings’ look more like a bowl of porridge. In their defense, they must be absolutely inundated with smaller and larger jobs at the moment: road/wall/bank collapses affecting roads, potholes, gravel, displaced manhole covers etc. We may have to be a bit more patient on this occasion. May-be add a few more cones to the various potholes, which perhaps in turn will help to slow down traffic to the desired 20 m/h?!
