There is a tree blocking Monsal Lane a little further from Littlewood Farm. Walkers can squeeze under the branches on the right hand side if agile. Otherwise go round the long way. Not passable by vehicle.

We have received the following comment:
Dear all, I have seen the post about the tree that is down.
I think it should be Monsdale Lane not Monsal Lane.
When people report trees blocking roads you can ask them to report it to the police on 111 and they will arrange for them to be cleared.

As I fear this tree is beyond saving with CPR, it would be better to call the police on 101, and not the ambulance / health service on 111
