The heating system is still not working properly. It works for a period of time and then stops. I checked the temperature on Monday morning and it was registering 13 degrees.

I have made the decision sadly to cancel classes this week.

The following two weeks are half term.

Classes will resume (heating permitting) week beginning Monday 25th February.

Hopefully see you all then.

Thanks
Sue

Based on the book THE HELP, this charming comedy set in Mississippi during the 1960s tells of a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends’ lives — and a small Mississippi town — upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families. Aibileen, Skeeter’s best friend’s housekeeper, is the first to open up — to the dismay of her friends in the tight-knit black community. Despite Skeeter’s life-long friendships hanging in the balance, she and Aibileen continue their collaboration and soon more women come forward to tell their stories — and as it turns out, they have a lot to say.

Paul B writes:

Please note that Evie’s artistic gatherings at the village hall have been re-scheduled from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm on Thursdays.

There is still plenty of room to join Santa’s little helpers, all beavering away merrily. Cookies, coffee and conversation.

If you are unsure of what you would like to do, there is plenty of advice on hand. See you there.
