2010 Program
The full 2010 program will be confirmed in January 2010, though several trips are being planned. We will not plan any talks until we have confirmation when the new Memorial Hall will open.

Wednesday 1st April – Talk: ‘A Shady Place’ with Stuart Dixon.

Wednesday 20th May – Visit to Consall Hall Gardens.
Depart 10am from Parwich Village Green
A 70 acre haven of beauty and tranquillity set amidst the beautiful scenery of the Churnet Valley, high above Consall Forge with its canal and steam trains.
Sunday 21st June – Open Gardens & Children’s Show.
Maps of the gardens can be obtained from Parwich Memorial Hall between
2 and 6pm, where the Children’s Show can also be seen
and cream teas are on sale
Wednesday 22nd July – Visit and guided tour of Arley Hall & Gardens.
Depart from Parwich Village Green at 9-30am
The Gardens, which are amongst the finest in Britain, are outstanding for their vitality, variety and historical interest and are particularly celebrated for the magnificent double herbaceous border. The Hall is an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in the Elizabethan style.
Sunday 6th September – Main Horticultural Show postponed
The Show has been cancelled this year because of the redevelopment of the Memorial Hall, but we will be back next year with a bigger and better Show.
Thursday 8th October – Bob Matthews Quiz.
