This seems like an ideal time of the week to alert people to the excellent local fish delivery service, which calls into Parwich every Friday afternoon.
The service is run by R.G. Morris & Son, a family firm which operates from Buxton. Bob and Daniel Morris provide a helpful, informative and cheerful service, and are happy to leave deliveries in out-buildings or with neighbours if their customers are still out at work.
Free range poultry and eggs are also provided, along with seasonal game.

Our fish is brought in from the various ports all around the country to our refrigerated depot. From there we distribute it to all our customers on a daily basis, ensuring that it is fresh and of the highest quality each day.
We have been using this service for several years, and have been absolutely delighted with it. (Try the dressed crabs, the Dover sole or the halibut – they’re all gorgeous.)
