Did anyone not have their green bins emptied yesterday – we certainly didn’t. I have been onto the environmental hotline and they have said that if a number of streets have been missed out they will try to send the contractors back out. Please either ring 01629 761215 or ring Jane on 665 or let me know through the comments.

Ours was partially emptied. The real annoyance is the fact that they always just leave the bin in the middle of my drive. Then I have to leave the car in the road to move the bin, I do hope my hand brake never fails, particuarly as I have my young daughter in the back.
