The new series of Strictly Come Dancing starts this evening (BBC1, 6:30pm, Saturday 13th Sept). As this week’s episode is a special “behind the scenes” preview, there won’t yet be a chance to vote for Tom – but nevertheless, the Chambers To Win campaign starts here!
The show is also repeated on Sunday afternoon at 5:30pm.

Thanks from us all for the interest in Tom and Strictly. He was on Radio Five live at 11.15pm last night (Saturday) being interviewed by Stephen Nolan and Arlene Phillips was interviewed too at the same time, Tom had no idea Alene was to be on too. Arlene told Tom she had watched his Tap Dance on Youtube which Stephen Nolan then must have found it and amazing chats ensued. I hope to keep you abreast of any interesting things that may be of interest.

It was great to see you Stuart and Tom earlier in the summer on your trip to Whitby. We still remember Tom bringing ” Billy” to church and I have dined out on that story many a time. Anne has been telling all and sundry round here that she had a birthay kiss from Sam Strachan. So pleased at Toms success. He sounds more and more like his dad- poor lad!!!!
We shall, as always be glued to the television to watch the show but in my case to watch his partner !!!

Hi Jack and Anne, and to think when the story appeared in the ANT ‘Will Billy be an Howling Success as New Vicar’ To say Tom is excited at Strictly would be an understatement, He has blown his trumpet at the Remembrance Service for the last few years, he hopes to do it again this year, So ‘Keep Dancing’ great to see you both and Archie in Whitby too. We both thought you had lost weight too. P S Billy came to Tom Lees funeral too, I think he was looking for you, !!

Thanks for the comments Stuart. By the way our little Westie is called ANGUS not Archie – he is quite offended and insists that I correct you !. I was surprised to see the web pages for our cottage but I assume it was because I enterd our web site address as that of the cottage. I didnt mean to advertise but would willingly welcome customers – of course !!!
