The results of the Great British Pub Awards are to be announced tomorrow evening at a formal reception the Park Lane Hilton in London. The Sycamore is our regional finalist in the Best Community Pub category, as is the Bluebell in the Best Pub Food category. Best wishes to both in the finals, lets hope the champagne corks will be popping.
Whatever happens Janet and Steve, have a great time in London, you certainly deserve a break after keeping the pub and shop open at the same time as getting rid of the mud and flood water. Also we hope there will be some photos of you both togged up for the occassion.
