Tom and Clare congrats hope, you have many happy years to come. lots of love from eleanor and all the shields.
Congratulations Tom & Clare. I wish you the best for the future to you both.
Love Becca, Eleanors Friend From Adcote x
The Daily Mail website has a report of the wedding, with some great photos… click here.
Mike you are right they are great photos. I am looking forward to hearing how the day went.
The whole wedding was like one big friendly party – the noise level in the church was really high as friends and family from both both sides chatted – Tom was his usual excited self – brimming over with happiness and the ceremony was perfect.I understand that there were some excited fans outside throwing knickers about?? The press were there but it was all very low key.
The whole proceedings continued with an emphasis on on a simple old fashioned wedding with lots of contributions to the occasion made by friends. Lou Matthews made napkin decorations and I made the cake. Carol- a friend of Clare’s mum decorated the church and marquee – understated beauty – her husband did an unusual Table Plan, John Fuller- Sessions took loads of photo’s etc. The bride looked beautiful – see photo’s but it was ivory rather than the bleached white it appears, Rosie looked stunning and very chic – as did everyone. There were some very beautiful dresses amongst the guests.
The Holby crowd were a little enclosed with one actor failing to take of his heavy overcoat all day. I don’t know – these Southern wimps.!!
The night ended with us all lighting paper balloons which floated away in the night air complete with our own personal secret wishes. I’m off to China now ( my 60th birthday present from Brian) -I shall have to log on to keep up with the news while I am gone. Love to you all.
Congratulations Tom and Clare
Good luck for the future
Love from Paula ..x
