By now many of you in the village will have received information relating to the appeal for funds to repair various areas of the church. To this end it has been suggested that a calendar of events be publicised for this year and a small group within the PCC has met and agreed a number of events.
We very much hope that these will be enjoyable occasions and that you will support as many as you can, seeing them as both fund-raising and social opportunities.
Calendar of Events
February 26th, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th & April 2nd – Informal Lent Lunches – 12.30-2pm (Bread, Cheese and Pate). Donations to the Appeal. The first two of these lunches will be held at Church Farm, Creamery Lane.
May 4th – Church Fete
June 28th – Teas & Home-made produce
July 10th – Safari Supper
September 12th – Ride/Stride Sponsored Cycle or Walk in conjunction with the annual Derbyshire Churches and Chapels Preservation Trust event.
September 19th – Concert
December 12th/13th – Christmas Tree Festival
