A blog reader has told us that the BBC have reported this weekend (see article) that villagers in Somerset have converted their traditional red phone box into one of the country’s smallest lending libraries. Users deposit a book they have read and swap it for one they have not. Should we try the same in Parwich?
Should we convert our phone box into a library?

In July the community in Settle, Yorkshire turned their phone box into the world’s smallest art gallery.
The good news for Parwich, is that we won’t have to make any such decision because BT will be refurbishing our phone, but it will only accept cards, no cash.
Jane, do you know who to contact so we can push BT to get on with replacing our phone. They had said they were going to sort it months ago.
I have spoken to them several times & they have rung me re this, I just need to remember where I have put the number!!
