Update: Please click here to listen to the tits in full song (but sadly not in conversation). Our thanks once again to Alan Burbidge of WSRS for providing the sound file.

We’ve now added a sound fiile to this post – see above.
Help, what am I doing wrong? When I click on the link to listen to the birdsong, a box appears and says “Do you want to save this file? – a Blue MP3 file?
What do I do?
How do I do it?
Why doesn’t it just go straight through to the sound?
Is anyone else having the same problem?
Unfortunately, procedures for listening to MP3 files vary from browser to browser, and from computer to computer. On most people’s set-ups, the sound file will load automatically onto their MP3 playing software. This will most likely be Quicktime, iTunes, Windows Media Player or RealPlayer – or the player might simply open up in your browser window. In each case, all you then need to do is press your “Play” button.
If a box comes up saying “Do you want to save”, look for another option within the box marked “Open”. If there is one, then click it and proceed accordingly. If there isn’t, then select the “save” option and save the MP3 to a folder on your computer. Then go to the folder and double-click on “Blue.mp3”. If this still doesn’t work, then you probably don’t have any MP3 playing software on your computer.
Hope this helps!
