A big thank you to all of you who supported the Choral Classics for Remembrance Concert in Parwich church on Saturday. The choir gave their services for nothing, the audience enjoyed some lovely village-supplied nibbles, and we raised almost £500 to go to the Help for Heroes Fund, and Parwich Church Restoration Fund

It was an absolute delight to come back to Parwich on Saturday, and I would like to pass on to all concerned that I have had several comments from our Nottingham group saying how wonderful the village is, how warm the hospitality was, how splendid the refreshments were – and what a gem St Peter’s church is! Some have said that they will definitely return and make another visit when the weather is better and the days longer. Many thanks to all those from Parwich who were involved – and for being such a great audience.
