Two weeks ago, Jill L’s border terrier Maisie gave birth to six of the cutest puppies you ever did see.
There are 4 boys and 2 girls in the litter. Two of them are Blue and Tans whilst the others are Red Grizzles. All six puppies are healthy and are doing very well.
For the first couple of weeks of their development, their eyes are closed and they do a lot of sleeping. Jill views this as the calm before the storm…in about one weeks time they will be mobile and will no doubt be getting into all kinds of trouble!
They are just at the stage when their eyes will start to open. One puppy has just opened one eye…so of course he has been named Nelson!
Mum is also doing very well. She’s very proud of her babies and is remarkably relaxed given all the human attention her pups are getting.
She is coping well with all the demands of motherhood…
Parwich.org will keep you posted on the progress of these little folk. They will remain in Parwich for around six weeks before going on to good families.

Archie,Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss ShCM (puppies dad) got Best of Breed twice and Reserve Best in Show at weekend….
One of our bitches, Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss got a Best of Breed at weekend too….
Today we have had it confirmed that Ruby, Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss is carrying 6 puppies, due in mid-march….woohoo…
