So this week it is Friday 8th for the Green Bin and Saturday 9th for the Black Bin. The collection may be anytime between 7am-4pm, because of the double Bank Holiday, so don’t despair if it hasn’t been collected by lunchtime.
Just remember whenever there is a Bank Holiday the bins are collected a day later.

Many thanks Jane. I have trouble enough remembering which is the green bin day, without a bank holiday as well, and following what your neighbours do does not always work.
Knowing your neighbours I’m not surprised you are confused.
Hey – nobody’s perfect! Besides Peter has obviously seen the light, and is very sensibly changing his neighbours shortly. Perhaps they will be more “bin-savvy”?

I can testify that Graham now has mastered the mysteries of the bin cycle, however I put my bins out the night before so can’t check what Graham does as he puts their’s out early on morning of collection.
