Our weatherman on the hill says:
More like spring than summer in the coming week, – showers and some sun with disappointing temperatures.

Does anyone happen to know what direction rain falls in (apart from downwards!!!) for the majority of the time, or the least of the time, in Parwich? I want to build (well am hoping Rob will build) a shelter for my chickens and want to make sure it is positioned to maximise their potential to stay dry.
Thanks
Emma
Emma – most of our wet weather comes from the west or southwest as does the prevailing wind – today is pretty typical of Atlantic depression behaviour which is the weather system which brings us most of our wet weather. – Suggest you just go outside and see where its coming from today and design around that. (then come in and stand under a dryer for an hour or so). – Don’t ya just love British summers :o)
Dont forget to install a loo ,Emma.
Paul – Obviously that was the first thing I put in, along with a hand basin and paper towels…..!
Graham – great idea but I missed your reply yesterday so will have to wait until the next it rains – probably won’t take too long though, after all it’s June….
