You may have noticed that we have had the odd snowflake drop in on us yesterday. For one Parwich family, this provided the perfect opportunity to launch an ambitious construction project.

Igloo Construction – A Practical Guide
What you need:
1). A Recycling Box (Of course any plastic box will do. Hope the council don’t see this 😉 )
2). A spade.
3). A wheelbarrow with a willing volunteer or two.
4. And snow. Lots of it.
First, gather your snow into the box:
Then deposit the snow in a kind of igloo shape, filling in all the gaps:
Try not to bury family members! All the usual health and safety rules apply.
And Bob’s your Uncle. One fine igloo!
Good luck with your own house-building efforts!

Inspired by the Fuller-Sessions and just big enough for a candle lit supper for three.
When our children were small we built an igloo that lasted for three weeks – it had carpet on the floor and the girls used to rush home after school and have their tea inside. It was large enough for two adults , two children and a dog – a bit friendly but loads of fun.
It’s available if anyone wants to sleep in it tonight. We can say that is it cosy and warm, albeit a bit cramped for anyone over 3ft.
Does it have an en-suite?
If it doesn’t have a loo its an IG.
