A message to local groups and individuals from Ashbourne Community Transport:
Dear Local Groups,
We would like to introduce our services. We have 12 wheelchair accessible vehicles available for hire for trips out etc. during the week, evenings and weekends. Our vehicles range from 12 seats to 16 seats.
We charge £8.50 per hour and £1.00 per mile (min. charge £18.50) – this is charged from our base, back to our base, and we can take you to any destination of your choice.
All our drivers are CRB checked and are trained in first aid, safeguarding, Midas driving and manual handling.
Instead of using one of our drivers, we could train one of your group members for free, making your outings just £1.00 per mile as and when you use the bus.

Dear Residents
We offer a shopping service from Parwich on a Monday arriving in Ashbourne around 12:00pm and leaving at 13.45pm. This service is door to door and available for anyone who is has a Gold Card, is unable to use public transport for whatever reason or rurally isolated. We also run shopping trips into Bakewell, Chesterfield, Leek, Derby and Burton. Cost is £2 return for Gold Card holders.
We can also take people to doctors, hospitals, dentist, hairdressers etc. – again a door to door service.
We run regular excursions to such places as Tissington Well Dressings, Sudbury, Bingo trips, Seaside Trips, Lunch Tours [including Sundays].
