Reading on the blog that super-fast broadband will be here in the next ten years, would anyone know of a reliable broadband supplier at the moment with decent speeds? I am looking for a bundle with anytime calls. Look forward to any comments.

I posted my initial experiences with BT earlier in the year, and they weren’t positive. However, shortly afterwards, and with assistance from their engineer, I get a solid 5mb bandwidth at a distance of 2 miles from the Parwich Exchange. I find that impressive, the more so when compared to the slightly higher speed I got when living in Great Longstone – only a few hundred yards from the Exchange there. BT’s new router (BT Hub 4) is really quite amazing eg in its ability to send data to a repeater consistently when you want wifi in your garden. And it’s a only £33 as an upgrade from BTHub 3.
