We are moving to Creamery Lane at the end of the month, I wondered if anyone has had experience of using a “Vodafone Sure Signal” device in their homes to boost the reception for Vodafone or Orange mobiles (currently no signal at all). We are aware that we will get a good 02 signal in the house but as we all still have existing contracts with Vodafone and Orange, I am investigating to see if we can avoid having to have two contracts each for the next year!!I can be contacted at Lynn.comley1@gmail.com if any one has any experience of this. Many thanksLynn & Nigel
Vodaphone Signal Query

I’m using an EE Signal Box for EE and Orange. works well. Doesn’t work with Vodafone of course. Unlike The Vodafone one don’t have to register specific devices so anyone visiting with EE automatically connects.
Only downside is it relies on Internet service and if you think the mobile signal is bad…… ;-(

We’ve got the O2 boost box which runs thought the broadband signal and it works very well. You have to register the sim to it though so it’s not just anybody who can use it.
That’s really helpful, thank you both very much for replying.
Hi Lynn and welcome to Creamery Lane. 🙂
I get no Vodafone signal at all in the village but we used to at the top of Creamery Lane near us going onto Kiln Lane but not as far down as your place. O2 will work pretty well all over but you will be best off getting your broadband through a landline or W3Z. We get a solid 7mbs through our landline at the top of Creamery Lane if that helps you make up your minds 🙂

Hi Matt, I will try Kiln lane for emergencies! Managed to get the Vodafone unlocked so that gives us more possibilities. We installed the broadband in advance and the signal seems similar to yours, pretty good. Thanks very much
