‘ If I were a carp-enter’.
“I’m forever blowing bubbles, lovely bubbles in the air.”
“Just running scared” Coy Orbison.
My dear Patti I was so pleased that you recalled that wonderful song it went down a storm when you sang it at the Hackney Empire all those years ago.You were the star turn after the stripping snake charmer and the Siamese twin contortionists. If you remember that was the night that the bubble machine went haywire and you disappeared for quite a while. I hung around in the pouring rain at the stage door for ages after the show hoping to catch a glimpse of you and when you eventually came out for a fag I got your autograph on a ten bob note ,I never spent it even when things got really tough.I do hope that you are planning a comeback if Kate Bush can do it so can you,God bless Patti, A loyal fan.XXXXX.
Ahh Paul, your kind recollection has touched my heart. If anyone could tempt me back it might be you. However, fags are not what they used to be….
“The power orfe love”.
“I’ve got my eyes on you, so best beware where you roam,
I’ve got eyes on you so don’t stray too far from home” ………
