Our Weatherman in the Village sends his apologies, but
I am sorry to report that the recent technical issues I am experiencing with my weather station mean that unfortunately I shall be suspending weather data for a little while until I resolve the problems properly. The live link to the station will still be open, but please be aware that some readings may not be accurate at this time. I will endeavour to resolve the issues as soon as possible, and hope to resume the posts then. In the meantime, those who thought last weekend was a little chill will be relieved to know that the –64 Celsius recorded was slightly lower than reality!

We shall very much miss your pithy observations which, at least to me, are far more informative than the mega-computer modelling from the Met Office.
