The District Council have issued the following press release about the up coming season of Dancersise sessions in the Memorial Hall:
Family Dancercise comes to Parwich
Tucked away to the north of Ashbourne, until recently Parwich was one of the Derbyshire Dales’ best kept secrets. That is until earlier this year when it was named by the Sunday Times as ‘one of the best places to live in Britain’.
So what better place for Derbyshire Dales District Council to launch its Family Dancercise classes. The monthly Dancercise sessions take place at Parwich Memorial Hall and feature a different dancing style each month. The classes are aimed at families and all ages and abilities are welcome to attend.
The District Council’s Village Games Coordinator Ian Dipaolo, said: “We launched Family Dancercise in Parwich on 18th July with a Greek dance theme and the four local families who took part loved it! The August class will have a Flamenco theme and costumes are optional.”
Upcoming Dancercise classes will take place on 22 August, 19 September, 17 October, 14 November and 12 December. Sessions cost £8 per family and must include at least one adult. Sessions are subject to change.
If you’re interested in attending one of the sessions please contact Ian Dipaolo on 01629 761387, ian.dipaolo@derbyshiredales.gov.uk
