The next election for the Police and Crime Commissioner for the Derbyshire Police area takes place on Thursday 5th of May 2016. Our polling cards are currently being issued by Derbyshire Dales District Council.
Nominations to stand for election as a candidate for the PCC elections will be accepted by Electoral Services at the Council House … … … until close of nominations at 4pm on Thursday 7 April 2016.

The current Commissioner is Alan Charles, and we hope to be able to provide information on the new candidates nearer the election, however information on candidates should appear on the Choose My PCC website by the 13th of April.
If you are not already on the electoral role:
You can apply to register to vote at http://www.gov.uk/registertovote. You will need your National Insurance Number to hand. You can also apply to register by contacting us on 01629 761335.
To vote on 5 May 2016 you must be registered on the electoral role or have applied to register by Monday 18 April 2016.
If you want to vote by post you must be registered and we (Derbyshire Dales District Council) must have received your completed postal vote application form by 5pm Tuesday 19 April 2016.
