We have received the following via Parwich Parish Council. Although it doesn’t say it, I am told that this is for the Eroica vintage cycling festival and that several local residents will be taking part – good luck to you all!

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME AND 30MPH SPEED LIMIT
A515, A5012 AND FRIDEN LANE, NEWHAVEN
WHEN: 14 June 207 to 19 June 2017
WHERE: It will be necessary to prohibit waiting and prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30mph on the following lengths of highway: A515, Newhaven from a point 285 metres south of its junction with the A5012 for a distance of 1.5 kilometres in a northerly direction; on the A5012, Newhaven from its junction with the A515 for a distance of 430 metres in an easterly direction; and on Friden Lane, Newhaven from its junction with the A5012 for a distance of 830 metres in a north easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate safe access to event
The restrictions will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make/has made an Order under Section 16 (Special Events) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1994 (as amended).
