There are district and parish council elections this Thursday, 2nd of May:
Parwich Parish Council – There are six candidates for seven elected positions (see the Parish Council website), so these six candidates will automatically take office without the need for a vote. Click here to see who they are. Congratulations to all six.
Derbyshire Dales District Council – Here in the Dovedale & Parwich ward we have three candidates:
- Sandra Fearn (Liberal Democrat)
- Sir Richard FitzHertbert (Conservative)
- Sue Hodgson (Labour)
The six Polling Stations for our ward are listed here, for residents of Parwich we vote in the Memorial Hall, but Alsop vote in Tissington, both with voting between 7am to 10pm on Thursday 2nd May.
Note. European Parliament elections are scheduled for Thursday 23rd May and the candidates for our region, the East Midlands can be seen here. To be included in the electoral roll in time to vote in European Parliament election you need to be registered by Tuesday 7th of May (click here to register on line).

Hello,
I live in Alsop and our polling station for District and General Elections is at Tissington Village Hall. Your post below seems to indicate that we vote in Parwich Memorial Hall which is not the case.
