This was a really informative and well-attended evening with several expert speakers about the geology and geomorphology (lake?) of the local area, Barrows and Romans (lots of coins on Parwich Hill), Anglo-Saxons, geophysical survey and excavations, water and flax growing. A big ‘thank-you’ to Fiona H who is the driving force behind the POP project, currently in its infancy, but which clearly has the support of residents from Parwich and beyond.
I was very sorry not to be able to go to this event and I know of several others who also couldn’t go. Is there any chance it could be repeated?
