Is something happening in the village?
There is a road sign wandering around on Creamery Lane Green, currently trying to hide behind the road forks sign. I have not been to see what it says.
Does it mean: “Get back home”.
Any ideas on who to report this to so we can get these signs picked up? They are a real eye sore and currently killing the grass on the little green on Creamery Lane.
Possibly Severn Trent. I don’t know what were they were doing but I believe the signs appeared on the same day that I saw several Severn Trent vans in the village.
Thanks Rona, I’ll pop them an email.
If in doubt, use the ‘Report a Road fault’ online form on the DCC website. DCC must have a central record of road works/closures/diversions etc. and will pass the info on to the appropriate department/company. The Report Form doesn’t have a category for ‘surplus’ signs but the form has usually been effective in my experience. Alternatively, we may have to be patient as they will be working with a skeleton staff as everywhere else. https://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/transport-roads/roads-traffic/report-a-road-fault/report-a-road-fault.aspx
