This message received from Derbyshire Dales District Council-
While household waste and recycling collections currently remain a day later than usual this week due to Monday’s floods, Serco are catching up faster than expected with some garden, food and trade waste collections.
This means some garden, food and trade waste collections have happened on residents’ usual day today – we apologise on Serco’s behalf for the lack of communication on this.
However, Serco will go back for any garden waste and food collections missed yesterday and today if you were working to the revised day-late schedule and didn’t put your container out. Simply complete the missed bin form at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/missedbin
The new message for the rest of this week is to leave garden and food waste containers out for collection *on your usual collection day*, but household waste and recycling collections will continue to be a day later than usual. Serco’s crews will work on Saturday to catch up.
MARVELLOUS!
Remember folks, you get what you vote for!
Too true Steve!
Not once have they ever come back to collect missed collections however I have reported it again!
The message sent out was everything was a day late, obviously I should have realised that meant well it maybe a day late. 🙄.
So, they said they’d be a day late, but have they actually managed appear in the Village today, as they certainly haven’t reached us?
