In case anyone else was as dismayed as I was this morning to see the brisk little torrents once again running through the village, you will be encouraged to read that according to the Yahoo newspage,
” … the reason we have got so much rain is a band moving north-east.”

It’s all the fault of the “Jet Stream” crossing the Atlantic too far south and dragging the low pressure systems (bad weather) over the UK and at the same time keeping the “Azores High” too far south. It’s nothing to do with Head Office Christopher.
