Don’t forget the deadline for your comments on the amended plans for the proposed new Memorial Hall is 5pm today. You can email your comments to planning.service@peakdistrict.gov.uk. The Planning Officers will be presenting a supplementary report with new recommendations, taking into account the amended plans and the additional comments to the Planning Committee. The application will be heard at Friday’s Planning Committee meeting which is being held at the Bakewell Agricultural Centre.
The deadline for indicating your intention to speak at the meeting was noon today, and some seven individuals/groups have asked to speak, five for and two against. The public can attend, so go along and let the Planning Committee know that Alsop, Ballidon, Parwich and Pikehall care about the future of our community hall facilities.
