Thx for the photo (show-3a)of my brother, Alan Bennett, which we rec’d in Munich where we live in view of the Alps just north of Tirol in Austria, and in the neighbourhood of the Bavarian asparagus and hop growing region.
Last year’s hops will be “processed” in the forthcoming Oktoberfest (the world’s largest beer festival, fair and this year also including the Bavarian agricultural show) due to start on 20th September.
Sorry to hear about the floods in Parwich and generally bad weather this summer, but it doesn’t appear to have damaged the onions.
