Week commencing 16 August 2010.
Not a very good week this week, two losses.
Tuesday League – Away – Ashwood Park.
Not our favourite green to say the least. Although we managed to share the match two games each our points tally was considerably less than our opponents. The result was 78 to Ashwood and 62 to us. We still remain in fifth place in the league although we have lost ground on the fourth team. Only two more matches to go in this league.
Next match – Home – 24 August – Whitworth Park 6.15 start.
Thursday League – Away – Whitworth Park.
They are a little below us in the league, but we always have a good match. This week we did not do very well at all. We failed to win any of the three doubles and only won two of the six singles. The result was a resounding win for Whitworth 137 to 108 our second lowest points total of the year so far.
Not sure if we will hang on to our sixth place.
Only three matches left in this league.
