11am There has been a steady fall of snow this morning, with more still to come. Thanks to Graham J for this update on the roads:
Dale Road and Alsop Road tricky this morning – no grit, probably only passable in 4×4. A515 to Buxton passable with care, snow blowing across in drifts at the usual locations (Parsley Hay, Flagg). Buxton side roads are bad.
Keep your comments coming.

How is the route to Ashbourne?
Just made the trip back from Derby to Parwich.
At 5pm on Tuesday, more and more snow was settling on the A52 as the car got nearer to Ashbourne. A515 is passable with care as is the B5056. Not advisable to stop whilst on an uphill. It was not possible to get up Bradbourne Hill in a rear wheel drive car, but the road into Parwich was still doable.
A515 back from Buxton was pretty hairy even in 4×4.
Drifting snow in high winds = white out at Parsley Hay.
By the way – there seems to be a layout issue with the feedback forms which can be confusing – it took me 3 goes to post a comment this morning until I realised the email and website were misaligned. Can’t remember this happening previously???
I only have a 2WD car so I guess I will not be going out for a day or so. I think a 4WD may be on the shopping list for the new year.
