Well we finally managed to meet up today as Ben was passing through the camp where I’m based in sunny Helmand. It’s good to know that despite reaching the dizzy heights of Major, Ben’s not afraid to get the kettle on…But maybe that was because his boss was there. Joking aside it’s always good to see a friendly face and hopefully it won’t be the last time he passes through. The first round in the Syc’s on me!
