With the return of snow this morning, please add comments to let people know about local road conditions. Alternatively, if you are staying at home, send in any photos of snowscapes.

Weather

BBC Travel News says that the A515 is closed between Bentley Brook and Ashbourne because of the snow. Has anyone got any better information? Cheers RickG
Well the weather did cut Parwich off yesterday, from the internet that is. For those of us that do not have smart phones and/or mobile reception, yesterday’s power cut (some 15 hours) meant no PARWICH.ORG. Thank you to Western Power Distribution for working into the wee small hours. For future reference the phone number to ring them in relation to power cuts etc is 0800 328 1111.
The majority of roads are now clear, but if you are on smaller lanes on high ground take care. The farmers have cleared most of them, but some are still difficult; I could not get through the road from Minninglow car park to Mouldridge Grange yesterday evening, despite 4-wheel drive. However no problems through Pikehall.
