A fair dollop of snow landed on Parwich last night, adding to the unmelted layer already on the ground. The morning saw many residents reaching for their shovels.
At the time of writing (5.30pm on Saturday) the Parwich weatherlink (kindly made available by Graham & Amanda) says the temperature is 1 degree celsius. We are expecting a bit of a thaw mixed in with rain over the next few days. The village’s fondant icing appearance is likely to change.
Have we seen the last of the snow? Probably not. There is still plenty of time for more of the fluffy stuff. In the meantime, enjoy the warmer temperature!
