The South Cheshire Raiders, an informal vintage and sports car group visited Parwich today, having their lunch at the Sycamore Inn.
They started the day just south of Congleton, passing Rudyard and Tittesworth Reservoirs, over the top, dropping down to Waterhouses, then through Ilam, Thorpe and Tissington on their way here. They planned to return via Longcliffe, Grangemill, Newhaven, Hartington, Lognor and Flash.

. . . and we all enjoyed a warm welcome from everyone at the Sycamore, and particularly Janet and Peter. Great food, too, in a real pub that clearly deserves that CAMRA accolade. So, many thanks to Parwich from us all.
I took part in this informal day out and would also like to thank all the staff at the Sycamore for the prompt and efficient way they served up our excellent meals and drinks. Well done to them all
