The brook at Nethergreen is just about at the top of the bank and the water is roaring down. If you are near the brook at any point through the village it is worth checking that no debris is being brought down with the force of the water. Apparently the banks have burst in Pits Lane.

Weather

The Dam in the centre of the village at 5pm today, fortunately at present the capacity of the pipe under the road is still greater than the water entering the pond.
MET Office forecasts see http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcqv8e7dr
The worst of the rain is hopefully over for today, though more is forecast for tomorrow.
