The Blog Team said thank you to JFS yesterday over a cream tea. JFS has been a photographic stalwart, recording nearly every Parwich event for our website. It has been a mammoth task which he has approached not only with quiet fortitude but also displaying considerable artistic skill . We hope that he will continue to bring his camera with him every time he comes to Parwich.
Thank you so much for the silver swallow, a beautiful piece of delicate work. It was suggested that an ear lobe would be the place to wear it. However it will be placed on my sun hat. I will treasure it. JFS
It is always a great pleasure to see John’s stunning bird photos, but people may not realise the amount of time he has put into recording village events. It is not just the time taking the photographs, but also editing and selecting them for the Blog, and then getting a disk to the relevant Blog Team member (sometimes having to work out who that is), often within a couple of hours or even less of the event.
Fortunately John and Marion are not far away now, and we hope still feel very much part of our community, so we can look forward to seeing more of his work, here on the Blog and in the press.
