Clocks go back tonight

Don’t forget that tonight sees the end of British Summer Time for another year and a return to God’s Time (Greenwich Mean Time). The clocks go back an hour at 2am tomorrow morning (Sunday 25th of October), so an extra hour lie in. Click here for the dates the clocks change in 2015 and 2016.

The safe has been opened…

After only 4 weeks, with odds of only of 1 in 27 of selecting the correct key, the safe was successfully opened last night.

A great big thank you to all entrants and tasters of Sunday’s Great Parwich Bake-off. Also to Val Kirkham and Sandra Chadfield for their invaluable help. We raised a brilliant £130 which will be split evenly between the Memorial Hall Fund and the Tearfunds No Child Taken Appeal.
