There are lots of lovely plants outside Rookery House including:

Cornus, Astrantia, Astilbe, Geum, Aquilegia, Geranium, Sedum, White Pulmonaria, mint. 

Annuals : Cerinthe, Ammi majus, Calendula, sunflowers, cornflowers 

Strawberry plants, tomatoes (please call 334 as these are in the greenhouse still)

It seems just in the last couple of nights, I’ve had someone poaching around the back garden.

Thank you to everyone in the school community, who regularly donate items to the PTA Bag2School collections. Your generosity helps people around the world and also the school, as they receive approximately £25 for every 10 bags donated (based on an assumption of 5kg a bag).

Colin passed away peacefully at his home in Arnold on Thursday 4th April aged 92.

A funeral service will take place at Gedling Crematorium Catfoot Lane Lambley NG4 4QH on Monday 22nd April at 2pm.

A Memorial Service and internment of Colin’s ashes will take place in Parwich at a later date.

I don’t suppose anyone signed for a large Amazon parcel yesterday for Richard Maddocks. It was signed for by Mr Jim at number 1 but no one at West View signed for it and there is no sign of the parcel (it is big!). If anyone knows anything can you let Lucy M know on 07728988329
